[1] Doctor Who, Ten/Rose/Martha-themed wallpaper
[1] song

So this wallpaper was inspired by Laura Veirs' "Wrecking" (click title to listen/download) and the theme was wondered about in an earlier post and now here is the artwork to show for it! As always, if you want icons, beg, or wait til I cannibalize my art for icons in a month or two.

Please comment! I'd love to hear what you think!

Thanks so much!

I love how Martha is in the middle.

I really wish that had a more profound meaning than "Those were just the pictures that sort of fit." And the whole rest of the piece had such a bit of analyzing to it, too... what with time-travel making things like decay and wreckage commonplace, giving those that do it a different perspective and set of standards.

Heh. To make excuses, I traded art/art history for music/music history and theory in high school... and that has been.... ages. ;)

But yes, now that you mention it. I can appreciated it even more.

Oh, good, then. :P I hit 'post reply' and then realized, wow, I just ran my mouth off analyzing yet again. Because I am in love with meta and analyzing texts and theory and criticism and all that. And love music. And graphics. And tend to try to load it up in one big whorish package and pimp it out to the internet.

Well, I can appreciate that sentiment when it comes to writing and music because these are things that are accessible to me intellectually. Art, however, never did much to me apart from: "oh shiny!" at best.
