1) From House, MD, icon made by

acopyofacopy . Though I'm not a hardcore House/Wilson shipper, I think it's fairly obvious that sometimes, they just totally slash themselves. It is my default response-to-slash icon!

2) From the fifth Harry Potter book, I think; icon created by

phuck. I think I initially saw this on

seedyapartment's LJ and it so matches my occasionally-flamboyant, flippantly-cheerful way of speaking that I had to have it.

3) Is it shallow to love an icon you made yourself? Probably. I'm shallow, then. In any case, I made this manip of Ten and Inara for the

sonic_tea ficathon and my entry therein. It delighted me to no end how much the pictures fit together and the pretty warm tones overlay them so nicely!

4) From Veronica Mars, made by rocker_graphics. While this icon is of course very handy for whenever I'm feeling stuck somewhere or generally blue, it's Veronica Mars! Who actually defines awesome.

5) From series three of Doctor Who, made by paintedxlie. Harry and Lucy are totally my Canon OTP Of Teh Evil!Secksay and so I use this icon for anything requiring large amounts of sex.

6) From Doctor Who, made by me from this wallpaper. I'm really intrigued by perceptions of time in DW, because as normal humans, we're subjected to experiencing time in a normal fashion. However, the series features humans who are removed from that temporal culture, and drop into other times and cultures. So how does that affect them, to only hit the important events in detail as if they're characters in a book? How does this impact those places that they visit, that actually have to deal with all the otherworldly things that happened, the explosions and the aliens? For all of these travelers, traveling may be their salvation, but it is also their wrecking tool- creating the shipwrecks of their own shattered perceptions of time and existence, and the wrecks of those left to clean up the mess after they leave.
