intrikate88The concert at the Red Light Cafe, featuring Juliana Finch, Sarah Peacock, and Gerlinda Grimes last night was a great time. Sadly I missed Gerlinda Grimes -her set was just finishing as we walked in- but Juliana was great. thunderemerald , I told her about how you had told me about her and "Glass Heart" (though I didn't mention the characters in your book, which I'm sure she would have been flattered to hear) and acquaintance we share in Sara Crawford. Her set was great, she played this medley of English murder ballads, a song about a widow that was really sweet, and, for her last song, an X-Files tribute: "David Duchovney, why don't you love me, why don't you love me?"
I suspect I need to hunt down any copy of that song forninamazing .
