Plan for Friday night: write/finish something for andi_horton , finish writing Doctor/Rose fic for then_theres_us , defeat the lingering inability to finish any fics at all lately, then reward self with eps of something/episode of Slings and Arrows/finish reading Have His Carcase because Peter and Harriet are teh bestest.

Actual Friday night: have mild headache, stare at two fics for five hours, write literally three sentences between them, post Craigslist ad for a room in my apartment, fail to write emails I need to for work, fail to watch anything entertaining, fail to finish fics, fail to participate in then_theres_us , fail to even wash my fucking teapot out.

I wish I could remember how to write. Fuck it, I guess it's time for bed.

Headaches suck, I have another one right now but I'm going to drag my sorry ass off the couch and take all my stuff down to Java Vino and sort my life out. Or something.

I nearly finished the fic in time for the challenge... and then I realized I would be totally disappointed with myself if I didn't take the time to do it justice, so w/e. It's the Rose-as-Nine fic that was hinted at in the blackbird fic, and on top of all the imagery that needs to be loaded into that, I want to use some of the concerns that were in that story "Alternate Anxieties" in Interfictions because they are totally applicable to Rose's universe-hopping.

idk. I just need to get moving and write anything at all and figure out the 30948089324089324 things that are sitting on my coffee table demanding my money immediate attention.

JAVA VINOOOOOOO! I wish we could go together. I feel like that place would sort me out too. As it turns out, I turned my weekend at home into a more than two-week stay; I got a chance to see my psychiatrist and therapist here and since they saw how bad things were, they think it would be a good idea for me to stay under observation. And I'm changing medications, or more accurately going up a dose on one and adding Xanax, which so far seems to be working well. At least I am sleeping! Even if it's still not when normal people do!

That all sounds badass and awesome. I feel like with fanfic challenges late is always better than never, so definitely finish that fic if the mood takes you. I hope the headaches let up.

I THINK WATCHING SLINGS AND ARROWS WAS A GOOD PLAN. I AM ALWAYS :DDDDD TO GET S&A TEXTS. 1x03 is like my favorite favorite episode of all time but then 1x04 is good too, what with Geoffrey in prison and Darren having to share a toilet with members of the young company. *_*

I am glad you're getting care you need for your health, and sleep! I wish I could make magic happen and have it all fix itself, but the universe doesn't always listen to me, as we know. HOWEVER. Stephen Fry is going to be playing Mycroft (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-11417860) and Mark Sheppard is going to be on Doctor Who, so maybe the universe is listening to my plans more than we thought, in which case, my plan is for you to be marvelously happy and anxiety-free, and using all the time you don't sleep in to produce all sorts of wonderful writing and other things that let you have a super well-paying job that sends you to places where I am often. Or to at least have medication that works and never gives you problems again.

I think this fic is going to need me to rewatch s1 to get the role reversal dynamic right. Not that that's a chore! But it does take time. So I rewatch S&A instead, which does not suck, and leads me to read Hamlet and daydream about how Geoffrey played him right before he totally lost his shit. (This leads to me making probably inappropriate facial expressions while in the lunchroom at work.)
