Ooooh, fun. The art is gorgeous, and I'm a big fan of some of these songs. (REGINA SPEKTOR! Guster! People make fun of me for liking "Satellite," but it makes me think of Ten and Rose too. :DDD )

I know, right? The first time I heard "Satellite" my jaw dropped and I was thinking "That is so Doctor Who... did they actually write that about Doctor Who? Cause it is..."

Point the first: great songs. seriously. I've only seen "Suddenly I See" used on *one* other Rose and/or Rose/Doctor fst, and I think it's such a great song for her - especially that scene in TPotW, where she's in the chippie with Mickey and her mum.
Point the second: *Love* the artwork. The pictures seem to capture the fact that Rose is her own person - maybe not a unique individual when we first met her, but she's not just arm candy, either. She's a real person, even if she is a bit of a Mary Sue sometimes.

I'll check. That's a very old mix and the files were on another hard drive that has since crashed, so I don't know what I have. I'll get back to you. I'm glad you like my taste in music; might I presume you were the one downloading from my Box account yesterday and today?

I was going through all of your and boxed's fanmixes and looking at all the music. The three of us definitely have a lot in common when it comes to music, not to mention I just love fanmixes. In fact, I started up a Chronicles of Narnia fanmix community way back in 2006, but it never really caught on... Do you know of any Doctor/Rose fanmix communities on LJ?

I fixed the link in the post so it should work now with no problem. I can't think of any specific Doctor/Rose mix comms, though you might check out rftardis or songs_in_time.

LOL, yes, I actually got most of my musical tastes from downloading boxed's mixes, so that explains that.

I'm posting a new Doctor Who mix soon, so keep an eye out!
