So for all five of you that are reading Apoctastasis or however the hell you spell that word that is the title of my Ten/Inara fic for [community profile] sonic_tea (I'm guessing I'm including [profile] goldy_dollar,[Bad username or unknown identity: kayling, ], [profile] inara223, maybe [personal profile] locker_monster and [profile] andi_horton, because she's a loyal friend and all. So six readers, then.) it's going to be a little delayed this week- end of the semester and all that, and I actually have to mention canon in this upcoming chapter which requires watching of the movie and paying close attention to potential plot pieces. But I really want to finish it soon, preferably before the end of the semester next Thursday, so it should be up soon.

Just not tonight.

*snaps fingers* Where's my fic? Er, take your time with it! RL has that nasty habit of interrupting more important pursuits. :D

Damn real life. Fic is far better.

I am more excited about the way all of fandom is going to completely explode sometime late Saturday afternoon, when the first people finish reading it. It's probably going to be violent and fabulously wanky and lots of people sobbing about spoilers. *cackles* *twirls moustache villainously*

I'll probably start reading the book, get accidently spoiled, laugh and point at all the people upset about being spoiled, finish reading the stuff i want to, and then go back to Deathly Hallows. But I am buying it and going to a fancy HP party Friday night, too, and picking mine up.

*wants to see utter chaos*

Haha, fandom is going to 'SPLODE fo real. I'm going to get my book at midnight at books-a-million and I'm going ahead of time so I can get in line first and get my book and get the fuck out of there before anyone flips to the back and goes, "OMG *SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER*" and then either my head implodes or I kick the shit out of theirs first, and I never get to read DH because I'm in prison. There's definitely going to be Wank to the Xtreme though, I'm sure of it. The Harry/ Hermione shippers will probably finally die of shame.

Pfft, they couldn't keep you from your book in prison, could they? That'd be cruel and unusual.

HAH, probably. I'll most likely be watching fandom_wank over on JournalFen with popcorn. Hermione and Ron should get married, if only (to quote The Horse and His Boy) so that they might continue to argue more conveniently. But fandom is so much fun... I mean, honestly, where are you going to find THAT much entertainment for free? It's like street theater or something.

I just don't understand why H/Hr shippers don't just accept it and come over to the Fun Side, aka the side that knows our ships won't ever be canon and yet loves, accepts, and fics them anyway. That's the best part of fandom after all! (besides the wank, of course) Personally, I'm on board for Ron/Hermione in canon but that doesn't stop me from enjoying some random delicious Draco/Hermione or something. People are too serious about their ships, man.

fandom_wank is so much fun. I try to avoid it though most of the time, if only not to get caught up for hours and hours. I'm sure ONTD will have some fun and interesting posts regarding DH as well. People over there are pretty much either OMGDHYAYMIDNIGHTRELEASEWHEE!!! or OMGSTFUABOUTMOTHERFUCKINGHARRYPOTTERALREADYJESUS!!!!! so... :D

Yay for ambivalence! But you know there's going to be some bugger out there who thinks it's clever to spoil everyone, and then fandom will be pissy, and maybe he'll wind up dead or have his computer bashed in... I'm getting way too dramatic, aren't I? I just see the police scratching their heads as everybody holds their knives and cackles.

I'm very much hoping there aren't too many losers here that would do such a thing. Most of the people I know that don't "do" HP stay as far away from it as they can. I'm going to spend as little time in the bookstore as possible to keep that from happening also. There was an article in the paper today with books-a-million saying how they were going to have activities starting at 9, and I get out of swing dance then, but I think I'll just go home and pace for a while before I go out. There's only so much "screaming kids running around all over the place" (sure to happen) that I can take at one time anyway. I'm thinking maybe head over around 11 and hang out for a little tiny while (apparently they've got a costume contest or something), and try to be first or near first in line so I can get my book and vamoose before the scenario where I end up in prison happens.

That sounds like a good plan. I'll be getting off work about five and have to go to the bank and the computer store (2gig flash drives for 16.99 FTW!!) and then I'll probably talk to the friend I'm going with and find out what's happening... I can't take the screaming children, either. *smashes small children with very large book*
I'm mostly going hoping they have snacks. :P

I actually put my "Support Cedric" shirt on this morning (unfortunately, the only HP shirt I own because Hot Topic doesn't carry Ravenclaw shirts in-store, just online) and then took it off in fear someone might see it and try to spoil me... is this what paranoia is, then? :) I'm rather nervous about someone spoiling me tonight at the bookstore.... perhaps I should go buy earplugs or something? I'm seriously considering it, actually. The bookstore is right next to Target...
